Before the first meeting
- Keep early conversation on the Service until you have enough context to feel comfortable.
- Do not share your home address, precise workplace, identity documents, bank information or private travel records.
- Never send money, digital assets, gift-card codes or financial credentials to someone you met online.
- Tell a trusted person where you are going and when you expect to check in.
- Choose a public, staffed venue and arrange independent transportation in both directions.
Notice pressure, not just charm
Pause when a story changes under simple questions, when someone insists on immediate secrecy, or when affection becomes tied to money, documents, images or a rushed decision. A polished profile does not verify identity or intent.
During the meeting
- Keep your drink with you and choose your own pace with alcohol.
- Keep control of your phone, belongings and route home.
- Do not let courtesy overrule discomfort. You may leave at any time.
- Do not move to a private or isolated setting because the other person applies pressure.
Images and digital privacy
Consider using a profile image that is not attached to a public professional account. Check what a background reveals. Do not send intimate material you would not want copied; disappearing messages can still be captured.
Reporting
Use the contact page to report conduct that may breach the Community Code. Preserve relevant messages and include the approximate date, but do not place yourself at risk to gather evidence. Support may limit or remove access while available information is reviewed.
Immediate danger
Contact the emergency service available where you are. Website support is not an emergency channel and cannot dispatch assistance.
